Tha stamps make great impressions. The dies cut cleanly and are easy to line up. I got great results and my cards turned out very cute.

It would be hard not to have a sweet day in the company of this sweet little hedgehog.
For this card, I wanted to keep it exactly as the 2 on 1 .pdf prints out. Once I had used
a 4” x 5 ¼” die to trim it down, I was able to start the process of coloring the background
behind her. In order to achieve the inking, I printed out 2 of the .pdf’s. On one of them,
I placed a 3” x 3” Post-it Super Sticky Full Stick Note on top the hedgehog and ran the
paper through again so it would print on the Sticky. All I had to do then, was cut the
hedgehog along the print lines to create a mask. For the grassy area, I printed another
.pdf on regular copy paper. I then cut along the lines and applied temporary tape runner
on the grass blades to use as a mask.
Now that I had my hedgehog and grassy area covered, I was able to start Inking. I
applied a very light layer of Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink with a blending brush. I then
went back with the Bunting Backdrop Stencil to ink in the bunting. I used Shaded Lilac,
Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.
For the hedgehog and grassy area, I used Copic markers in the following colors:
E50, E51, E53,E43, E47 - hedgehog
R01 - cheeks
YG63, YG67 - grass
RV21, RV23 - pink ice cream
YR21, YR23 - cone
E21, E33 - chocolate ice cream
YR61, YR63 - orange ice cream
I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the bunting and the hedgehog.
She is just the sweetest little thing, and I had such a good time making this card. I can’t
wait to send it off to just the right person.
Thank you for stopping by.
